About

My name is Kendall E. Lee, and I’m a graduate student pursuing a 1-year accelerated Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology/Biostatistics at the University of California, Berkeley.

My interests include emergency management and epidemiology, especially in the context of natural disasters, infectious diseases, climate change, and addressing community health disparities.

I am the founder and director of the Berkeley Disaster Team, and I work as a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and show lead with Rock Medicine and the Berkeley Medical Reserve Corps. I’m also an undergraduate researcher in UC Berkeley’s Harris Lab working on the dengue virus non-structural 1 (NS1) protein, with the hopes of developing therapeutic treatments and vaccines.
